ESRL
About us The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) at Ben-Gurion University (BGU) of the Negev has established a new Enterprise Systems Research Laboratory (ESRL).
ESRL Activities: ESRL will mainly conduct research programs alongside courses, workshops, and related executive seminars. With the help of industry partners, ESRL will build an 'Academia-Indusrty Circle' and new 'IT Research Data Repository' regarding physical and behavioral aspects of the IT industry in Israel (people, practices, preferences, policies) to enable research in the area of Enterprise Systems. ESRL will hold an annual 'Enterprise Systems Symposium' and publish a periodical newsletter about its research activities.
ESRL Leaders with BGU: ESRL was founded by Mr. Hanan Maoz and is now headed by Dr. Lior Fink. ESRL activities are conducted in full accordance with Prof. Nava Pliskin, head of the Information Systems specialization in the department, and Prof. Gadi Rabinowitz, head of the department.
Sponsorship Model: Oracle Israel is the first major sponsor who builds a three-year commitment to support the ESRL programs.
